  In sadness I walked in my garden Roses bloomed around me But I didn't care Their scent would just fade Beauty without substance Would you clip the buds And watch them die? You arrived in my garden With sunshine and water Flowers become dreams Under your tender care

Go boldly forward Scars upon your body Damage in your soul Fat, skinny, young, old Do not hide from your imperfections  Love them Love those who accept you unconditionally  The rest shall fall away  

  Night comes and I transform  A pirate, a queen, a sorceress, but me I reach out to you through the camera lens Smiling,  I think of your touch A touch that's only in my mind Can you see me? Not my body not my face The me that desires you In a world gone crazy In a place far away I sit in the darkness, revealed    

  I'm watering my garden I hear steps and a knock at the door A delivery? I turn the corner t o answer the door I see You Standing there, my heart personified You are best thing I'll ever see in this life We both smile I run up to you and you grab me And hold me tight Telling me you want me You never want to let me go I can't hold back the tears I have dreamt of t his moment So many times I w aited for your steps Your embrace is the breeze Your image a ghost on my steps You didn't come for me I wash off the empty steps I'll keep them clean Just in case  

  I will not disrupt your life plans Take a chance on me I will give you respect and support Take a chance on me Open your heart and I will treasure it Take a chance on me Forget the past, for I am the future Take a chance on me Sure, it's not easy, but I am worth it Take a chance on me Please
