Dance of Life
Photo by Todd Trapani on Unsplash
The dance begins again
I have danced before
Oh, so many times
I danced for others
Fool that I was
Now, I dance for me
My songs play within
I don't care who likes my dance
My playlist on repeat
I will not be a wallflower
I will dance with joy
until my music is
silenced
And another bonus poem from Rumi
Dance, when you're broken open. Dance, if you've torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you're perfectly free.
Rumi
