The Perpetual Party

Hi. This was an entry from last year for a 75-word flash fiction contest. Sometimes you don't need many words to convey the message.
All the best people were at this party.
I saw his Rolex and witnessed his charismatic charm. I should have what he had. I deserved it. Didn't I? Suddenly, his watch was on my hand. A group of interested guests stood next to me, engaged. I don't know how, but I had his life.
I scanned the crowd. The woman in the corner really had everything. If only I could trade up again, and again.
